We are looking for a skilled Fortinet Pre-Sales Engineer & Product Technical Specialist to support our distribution business. The role focuses on technical pre-sales, partner enablement, and customer engagement across the Fortinet portfolio.
The candidate will work closely with distribution-managed partners, system integrators, and enterprise customers, providing technical expertise, solution design support, and enablement to drive Fortinet adoption and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Sales & Solution Engineering
Act as a technical SME for the Fortinet security portfolio, including:
FortiGate (NGFW)
FortiManager / FortiAnalyzer
FortiSwitch & FortiAP
FortiEDR, FortiClient, FortiSIEM (as applicable)
Support pre-sales activities such as:
Requirement gathering and technical discovery
Solution architecture and design
Technical presentations, demos, and POCs
Assist sales teams with:
RFP/RFI responses
BOM creation and solution size
Licensing and subscription guidance
Partner & Customer Engagement
Participate in:
Distribution Managed Partner Round Tables
Partner Round Tables
Customer Round Tables
Engage directly with partners and customers to position Fortinet solutions effectively.
Act as a trusted technical advisor during the sales lifecycle.
Training, Enablement & Onboarding
Deliver partner enablement and training sessions on Fortinet solutions.
Support new partner onboarding, ensuring technical readiness and alignment with Fortinet best practices.
Conduct Rapid Track trainings and technical workshops.
Help partners prepare for and achieve Fortinet NSE certifications.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, demo labs, and enablement material.
Collaboration & Vendor Interaction
Work closely with:
Internal sales and product teams
Fortinet vendor technical and channel teams
Stay updated with Fortinet product roadmap, new releases, and security trends.
Provide feedback from partners and customers to improve GTM and enablement strategy.
