Role Description The Pulses Foreman is responsible for overseeing daily operations in the pulses processing unit at Defne India’s on-site facility in Gujarat, India. This full-time role includes supervising sorting, cleaning, grading, and packing of pulses, ensuring that all processes meet quality, safety, and hygiene standards.



The Pulses Foreman coordinates worker schedules, assigns tasks, and monitors performance to maintain productivity and minimize downtime. The role involves checking raw material quality, maintaining records of production, and reporting any operational issues to management for timely resolution. The Pulses Foreman also collaborates with quality control, maintenance, and logistics teams to ensure smooth workflow and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Experience in pulses or grain processing operations, including supervision of cleaning, grading, and packing activities.
Solid knowledge of quality control practices, food safety standards, and hygiene requirements in agricultural or food-processing environments.
Ability to lead and motivate on-site teams, manage shifts, and allocate tasks effectively to meet production targets.
