About the role

Scale Global is looking for an International Business Manager to build and grow a portfolio of international markets. Based in our central office, you will act as the business owner for your assigned markets - developing market-entry strategies, appointing and managing distributors, delivering revenue and profitability, and building the in-market capabilities required for growth.

The role combines international business development, commercial management and operational execution. You will work closely with distributors, Market Leads and central teams to turn market opportunities into sustainable, well-managed businesses.
Responsibilities

Assess and prioritise recent markets, categories, channels and business-development opportunities.
Develop market-entry strategies, business cases, launch plans and annual commercial plans.
Identify, evaluate, negotiate with and appoint distributors and other strategic partners.
Own market revenue, gross margin, profitability, budgets, forecasts and working-capital performance.
Define portfolio, pricing, channel,



promotion and market-investment priorities.
Build relationships with priority clients, retailers, marketplaces and channel partners.
Design the in-market operating model and determine the resources required as each market develops.
Recruit, onboard, deploy and manage Market Leads and other in-market resources.
Establish objectives and performance measures for internal teams, distributors and external partners.
Coordinate launches and ongoing execution across regulatory, supply chain, marketing, finance and operations.
Monitor sales, inventory, product availability, fulfilment, collections and distributor performance.
Provide market intelligence, identify emerging risks and recommend corrective actions or further investment.

What we’re looking for

7–10 years of experience in international business, market development, regional business management, export management or distributor-led growth.
