We are looking for a Cost Engineer with strong expertise in should-costing and cost analysis across manufacturing processes such as fabrication, machining, casting, forging, and plastics. The role focuses on delivering accurate cost estimates and identifying cost optimization opportunities across the product lifecycle.
Develop and maintain should-cost models for components and assemblies
Perform detailed cost analysis to identify key cost drivers
Support supplier negotiations using cost insights and benchmarking
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and procurement teams
Conduct market research on material costs and industry trends
Identify and drive cost reduction initiatives
Provide costing insights for new product development and sourcing decisions
