We're looking for an experienced, independent External Member – Internal Committee (POSH) to join our Internal Committee under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013.
Who are we looking for?
A senior POSH professional, employment lawyer, workplace investigations specialist, experienced External IC Member, or senior HR/social-sector professional with demonstrated expertise in workplace sexual harassment matters.
What will you do?
As a statutory External Member, you will:
Participate as an independent member of DTII's Internal Committee
Take part in complaint review, conciliation (where legally applicable), formal inquiries, hearings, and IC deliberations
Contribute to evidence assessment, natural justice, reasoned findings, and inquiry reports
Ensure impartiality, procedural fairness, and adherence to statutory timelines




Maintain strict confidentiality of complaints, identities, evidence, proceedings, and IC deliberations
Identify and disclose conflicts of interest, and maintain independence from management and HR on individual matters
Support POSH awareness, IC training, and capacity building
Provide inputs on POSH policy, prevention measures, and annual statutory reporting
Help DTII continuously strengthen a workplace culture of dignity, safety, inclusion, and trust
What we're looking for
Essential:
Strong practical understanding of the POSH Act, 2013 and applicable Rules
Demonstrable experience handling workplace sexual harassment matters
Experience serving on an Internal Committee and/or participating in POSH inquiries
Strong grounding in natural justice, evidence assessment, and inquiry procedures
Excellent communication and report-writing skills
Exceptional confidentiality, integrity, empathy, and qualified judgment
