Job Title: Performance Tester
Location: Bangalore, Chennai

Job Summary
Core Skills:
• Min of 4+ to 6 years’ experience with Performance Testing and tuning.
• Review functional design and non-functional requirements and provide recommendations
• Should understand the challenges and strategies to effectively implement performance testing in an agile or Continuous delivery environment.
• Familiar with real-time, user-facing testing methodologies and approaches.
• Familiar with batch or background testing methodologies and approaches.
• Strong experience in cloud apps performance testing
• Strong understanding of the monitoring solutions and KPIs used to determine availability and performance of the technology stacks of the following: (Web (Apache), Application (Weblogic or Websphere or Kafka or Solace), and Database (SQL or DB2 or Oracle and Mongo)).
• Strong Experience using diagnostic tools like New Relic, Dynatrace, HTTP Watch, Fiddler, IE and Chrome Developer Tools
• Expertise in Test Planning, Test Estimation, Test Strategy, Work Load Design, Test Cases Design,



Test Environment Setup, Test Data Setup, Defect Management & Configuration Management.
• Must possess a strong knowledge of enterprise application architecture and technologies including web, web services,.net, Java, Apache, JBOSS and VMWare.
• In-depth knowledge and working experience with Performance Center, JMeter, and other latest Performance Engineer & Performance Testing Virtualisation tools and Open Source performance testing tools (Apache JMeter, WebLOAD etc)
• Must be familiar with load test scripts in the following protocols: Rest, IBM MQ/Solace/Kafka, HTTP, SOAP, AJAX Flex, ODBC, and Java RMI
• Ability to work in a cooperative “team-oriented environment using and implementing best practice programs with respect to load generation, bottleneck analysis, usage of modeling tools and statistical analysis.
