Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented IT Asset Management Analyst with 2 to 4 years of experience in Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM). The candidate will be responsible for maintaining IT asset inventory, software license compliance, asset lifecycle management, audit support, and ensuring adherence to IT asset governance processes.
Key Responsibilities
Hardware Asset Management (HAM)
Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of IT assets, including procurement, deployment, movement, return, and disposal.
Maintain accurate records of hardware assets such as laptops, desktops, servers, network devices, and peripherals.
Perform periodic asset audits and inventory reconciliations.
Ensure asset information is updated and maintained in ITAM tools and CMDB.
Track asset allocation and recovery across locations and users.
Software Asset Management (SAM)
Maintain software inventory and license records.
Monitor software compliance and identify licensing risks.
Assist in software license renewals and vendor management activities.
Support software usage analysis and optimization initiatives.
Participate in vendor and internal software audits.
ITAM Governance & Reporting
Ensure compliance with IT Asset Management policies and procedures.
Generate IT asset reports, dashboards, and compliance metrics.
Support audit readiness by maintaining proper documentation and records.
Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance asset accuracy and efficiency.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Work with IT Support, Procurement, Finance, Information Security, and Vendor Management teams.
Support onboarding and offboarding asset-related activities.
Coordinate with vendors for asset procurement, warranty, and service-related matters.
Required Skills
2 to 4 years of experience in IT Asset Management.
