Role Description The Senior Design Engineer – Fire Fighting Systems is a full-time, in office role based in Mumbai. This role is responsible for designing fire protection and detection systems, including hydrant, sprinkler, foam, gas suppression, and alarm systems in accordance with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements. Day-to-day tasks include preparing system layouts, sizing and selecting equipment, developing technical drawings and BOQs, coordinating with project, procurement, and installation teams, and reviewing engineering documentation for accuracy and compliance. The engineer will conduct site visits for design validation, support commissioning activities, and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and drafters. The role also involves interacting with clients and consultants, preparing design reports, and ensuring all solutions meet safety, quality, and performance expectations.
