Our client is looking for an analytical, execution-oriented Technical SEO & Performance Analyst to take ownership of site performance, technical search health, and data-driven content optimization across a portfolio of digital assets.

Rather than generating high-volume bulk content, you will use data from Google Search Console and GA4 to diagnose traffic drops, spot high-impression/low-CTR opportunities, execute internal linking strategies, and recover high-value search properties within strict Australian healthcare advertising compliance guidelines.

This role is ideal for a data-first SEO strategist who relies on query-level performance metrics, spreadsheet analysis, and smart AI workflows to determine high-ROI optimizations.

Client Overview

Our client operates a large-scale, multi-site digital network encompassing 50 to 60 specialized web properties focused on plant-based medicine, clinical research, and patient education. Having completed extensive foundational work across brand compliance, interlinking architecture, and Search Console performance audits across 58 search properties, they are adding a dedicated remote specialist to manage, optimize, and protect their search ecosystem.

Schedule:

- Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM AEST (20 work hours per week)

Responsibilities: 1. Performance Analysis & Diagnosis

- Conduct property, page, and query-level performance analysis across 50+ properties inside Google Search Console and GA4.
- Monitor organic search traffic trends to isolate growing vs. declining search assets and diagnose root causes for ranking or traffic losses.




- Uncover "striking distance" keywords (Positions 5–20) and high-impression / low-CTR pages to prioritize metadata and on-page optimization.
- Maintain clean performance dashboards in spreadsheets (Google Sheets / Excel) to report ecosystem health and trends.

2. On-Page & Technical Ecosystem Optimization:

- Execute targeted on-page SEO updates, content refreshes, consolidations, and structural improvements driven by search intent data.
- Implement strategic internal-linking structures across topical clusters to maximize page authority and semantic flow.
- Manage basic technical SEO, indexing issues, canonical tags, and crawl errors across web properties (including Google Sites and similar WYSIWYG environments).
- Utilize AI productivity tools intelligently to assist with search intent research, data analysis, entity mapping, and workflow optimization.

3. Healthcare Compliance & Governance:

- Ensure all content updates, internal links, and on-page optimizations strictly adhere to relevant Australian healthcare advertising and regulatory compliance standards.
- Document updates, track performance impacts, and maintain accurate change logs across properties.

Requirements:

- Hands-on GSC & GA4 Experience:



Demonstrated expertise analyzing multi-property Search Console environments, diagnosing traffic fluctuations, and building data-led optimization roadmaps.
- Technical & On-Page Proficiency: Solid knowledge of on-page SEO, semantic interlinking, indexation management, and content consolidation principles.
- Data-Driven Strategy: Ability to analyze query-level data in spreadsheets to prioritize tasks based on measurable search prospect rather than content output volume.
- Healthcare & Compliance Awareness: Ability to execute SEO optimizations strictly within regulated industry guidelines (healthcare, medical, or advertising compliance frameworks).
- Practical Assessment: Willingness to complete a brief practical SEO / data-analysis exercise as part of the candidate selection process.

- Analytics & Search Tools: Google Search Console (GSC), Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
- SEO & Keyword Platforms: Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, Google Keyword Planner
