Role Overview

We are looking for a highly capable Technical Sales Specialist to drive B2B growth for our fire pump and fire safety portfolio. In this role, you will bridge technical engineering and commercial sales—working directly with MEP consultants, MEP contractors, industrial plant engineers, and project managers. You will interpret engineering specifications, design tailored pump and safety system packages, and lead high-value deals from discovery to contract execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Technical Solution Consultations: Conduct technical discussions with MEP consultants, fire safety engineers, and EPC contractors to evaluate fire hydrants, sprinkler demands, and pump capacity requirements.
- Spec-In Strategy: Get Arch Enterprises' products specified during the early design phases of commercial buildings, manufacturing plants, and infrastructure developments.
- Proposal & BOQ Preparation: Review tender documents, detailed drawings, and hydraulic head calculations to compile precise technical proposals, compliance sheets, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
- System Pitching: Present technical offers for end-to-end fire fighting pump packages (Main Electric Pumps, Diesel Engine Standby Pumps,



Jockey Pumps, and Controllers).
- Deal Closure & Relationship Management: Lead technical sales discussions, commercial negotiations, and contract finalizing with key accounts, contractors, and builder teams.
- Site & Project Coordination: Coordinate with internal logistics and service engineers for post-order technical clarifications, site readiness checks, and smooth commissioning handovers.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Education: B.E. / B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Safety Engineering, or allied technical disciplines.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years in technical sales, application engineering, or pre-sales within pumps, fire protection systems, HVAC fluid handling, or industrial valves.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Solid grasp of centrifugal pumps, vertical turbine pumps, and jockey pump sizing.
- Familiarity with fire protection codes (NFPA 20, NBC, TAC) and UL Listed / FM Approved fire system standards.
- Ability to read and interpret MEP layout drawings, single-line diagrams, and hydraulic head loss curves.
- Core Competencies: B2B consultative selling, technical proposal drafting, contract negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel across local MIDC industrial clusters and regional project sites for client meetings.
