Role & responsibilities

- Provide strong technical and project leadership to cross-functional engineering, QA, DevOps, and product teams.

- Own the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of multiple technical projects across cloud, APIs, web applications, automation, and DevOps.

- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring clear ownership, accountability, priorities, and timely execution of deliverables.

- Define project scope, objectives, milestones, timelines, dependencies, deliverables, and resource requirements.

- Drive Agile/Scrum processes including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog reviews, retrospectives, and release planning.

- Set clear project priorities and ensure teams remain aligned with business objectives and technical goals.

- Monitor team performance, project progress, schedules, risks, issues, dependencies, and resource utilization, and take proactive corrective actions.

- Mentor and guide team members on project execution, delivery practices, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.

- Facilitate effective communication between Engineering, QA, DevOps, Product, Business, Operations, and senior leadership.

- Work closely with technical teams on AWS and Azure cloud-based applications, deployments, migrations, infrastructure, scalability, and setting readiness.

- Manage projects involving REST APIs, microservices, API gateways, third-party integrations, and system integrations.

- Coordinate API development, testing, documentation, authentication, integration testing, and release timelines.

- Work with DevOps teams to manage CI/CD pipelines, build processes, automated deployments, environment management, releases, and rollback activities.

- Provide technical direction and facilitate decision-making when project teams encounter technical challenges, dependencies,



or delivery blockers.

- Coordinate application development and release activities involving React-based web applications and backend services.

- Drive test automation initiatives using Playwright or equivalent automation frameworks, including regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing.

- Work with engineering and QA teams to identify opportunities for automation and improve software delivery quality.

- Apply working knowledge of Python to understand automation scripts, APIs, technical implementations, and engineering workflows.

- Monitor release readiness, production deployment risks, defects, technical dependencies, and post-release issues.

- Create and maintain project plans, RAID logs, sprint plans, release plans, dashboards, and project status reports.

- Define, monitor, and report project and engineering KPIs such as sprint velocity, release frequency, deployment frequency, lead time, defect density, automation coverage, and schedule variance.

- Provide regular project health updates, risk analysis, KPI reports, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.

- Identify technical, operational, resource, and delivery risks and ensure timely mitigation.

- Resolve conflicts, remove delivery blockers, and ensure effective collaboration across teams.

- Take ownership of project outcomes and ensure commitments are delivered within agreed scope, timeline, quality, and resource constraints.

- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across project delivery, engineering processes, automation, release management, and team productivity.

- Act as a key leadership interface between technical teams, business stakeholders, senior management, and external partners.

- Drive a culture of ownership, accountability, collaboration, quality, and continuous improvement across project teams.
