Education: B.Tech in Mechanical /Production/ Food / Dairy / Manufacturing.
Role & responsibilities:
- Set the External manufacturing Strategic Choices and Master Plans required to deliver the Commercial MBU Business and Manufacturing priorities
- Build an agile, service, cost, compliance, and quality culture at 3 PM site.
- Lead the external manufacturing to be a highly reliable, responsive, and competitive operation
- Drive towards a zero-risk operating culture to guarantee a safe environment for anyone working in external manufacturing.
- Build Productivity Pipeline to secure cost reduction on a year-on-year sustainable plan.
- Drive connectivity, networking, and benchmarking both internally and externally
- Secure Product Superiority through minimised product variability and spec consistency
- Strengthen the external manufacturing contribution to MBU Innovation Pipeline.
- Benchmarking and any creative sourcing models on NPDs.
- Build relationships and set long-term action steps with external partners and the local community for protecting both reputation and competitiveness
1. Production & Process oversight Plan and execute daily/weekly manufacturing schedules to meet client delivery timelines.
Review production processes and critical control points.
Drive implementation of SOPs and quality standards.
Review Plan for pest control activities
Participate in any new product trial
2. DFIPL & Co-packer Coordination and Inventory Management
Communicate with co-packer teams and raw material/ packing material supplies to prevent ingredient shortages.
Evaluate Raw Materials (RM), Packaging Materials (PM), and Finished Goods (FG) inventory management and communicate to DFIPL purchase team
Track and close CAPA arising from audit findings.
3. Product Quality Monitoring
Review microbiological, chemical, and physical test results.
Investigate quality complaints, market returns, and product recalls.
Ensure root cause analysis (RCA) and CAPA implementation.
4. Food Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
Manage food safety programs and documentation.
Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, and local food safety standards on the floor.
5. Training & Capability Development
Develop and conduct quality training programs.
Build quality awareness among plant teams and co-packers.
Maintain training records and effectiveness assessments.
6. Quality Systems & Documentation
Develop and update SOPs, specifications, quality manuals, and checklists.
Monitor adherence to documentation requirements.
Maintain audit and compliance records.
7. Performance Monitoring
Track production KPIs
100% product supply as per purchase plan
Product release as per quality standards reduction of process losses
Quality rejection percentage from the market
CAPA closure status
Share monthly management review reports.
8. Cost Control
Track raw material usage, manage stock reconciliation, and minimise production wastage.
Minimize process losses
Minimize Utilities losses through proper utility utilisation.
