Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Documentation Control
- Maintain the master list for:
- Control Plans
- Process Flow Diagrams
- FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
- Work Instructions
- Stage Drawings
- TS/TD Documents
- Tool and Gauge Drawings
- Manufacturing Layouts
- Setup Instructions
Process Planning & Quality Activities
- Prepare and update Process Flow Diagrams, FMEA, and Control Plans.
- Prepare and maintain APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) documentation.
- Propose and implement corrective actions for:
- Quality system findings
- Internal audit findings
- Customer complaints
- Prepare budget proposals related to process improvement and quality initiatives.
- Ensure timely introduction and industrialization of new products.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency.
Authority
- Approve SIR (Supplier/Internal Inspection Reports, as applicable).
- Stop production in case of quality concerns and hold non-conforming products.
- Conduct process tryouts and recommend cycle times.
- Initiate and implement process improvements to achieve cost reduction and operational efficiency.

Qualification & Experience
Educational Qualification
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (D.M.E.) or equivalent
- Minimum 6 years of experience in quality functions, process planning, and methods activities.
OR
- Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) - Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 4 years of experience in process planning and methods activities.
