Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead – Payment Applications to lead payment system projects, change requests, application support, integrations, testing, deployments and production activities.

The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in payment applications and card payment systems , with proven experience handling domestic card scheme programs , preferably within the GCC market .

Key Responsibilities

- Lead Payment Scheme projects and CRs as the Technical Point of Contact.
- Work with Debit Card, Credit Card and POS Acquiring applications .
- Provide technical support for channels, middleware and other systems integrated with payment applications.
- Lead technology initiatives related to domestic card schemes.
- Manage SIT and support UAT, Go-Live and post-Go-Live activities.
- Manage technical project deliverables, issues, risks and escalations.
- Perform requirement gathering, technical analysis and impact assessment.
- Analyse and support end-to-end payment integrations .
- Manage controlled deployment of patches, fixes and changes to payment applications.
- Prepare production Go-Live checklists and test/prod setup documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve payment application issues.
- Support BRD,



functional/design specifications and integration activities.
- Coordinate with internal teams, business stakeholders, vendors and operations.
- Ensure smooth handover of production environments to the Operations team.

Mandatory Requirements
- 15+ years of overall experience in Application Support.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Payment Systems.
- Strong hands-on experience with Payment Applications .
- Proven experience handling Domestic Card Scheme programs .
- GCC experience is preferred , particularly experience working with domestic card schemes in the GCC market.
- Strong understanding of Payment Scheme application architecture .
- Hands-on experience with Credit Cards, Debit Cards and/or POS Acquiring .
- Strong knowledge of Payment Protocols, APIs and Integration Technologies .
- Oracle PL/SQL – Mandatory.
- Knowledge of major payment networks such as Visa, Mastercard, etc.
- Robust understanding of payment processing systems and banking/financial protocols.
- Experience in the Banking sector is preferred .
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.

Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
