About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst who can understand complex and unfamiliar web applications, gather business requirements, and translate them into clear, developer-ready specifications.

The role focuses heavily on discovery, requirements gathering, process analysis, web portal analysis, data extraction workflows, and collaboration with engineering teams. You should be comfortable using AI tools to accelerate research, analysis, prototyping, and requirement validation.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze unfamiliar web portals and understand their workflows, fields, inputs, outputs, and dependencies.
- Gather and document business and technical requirements from stakeholders.

- Translate complex workflows into

- User stories

- Acceptance criteria

- Business rules

- Process flows

- Edge cases
- Define what data needs to be extracted, its source, format, and normalization requirements.
- Break ambiguous requirements into clear, actionable development tasks.
- Work closely with developers and client-side stakeholders throughout delivery.
- Create reusable templates, checklists, and documentation for future projects.
- Compare workflows across multiple systems and identify commonalities and differences.
- Validate automated outputs against existing manual processes.
- Identify gaps, defects, and acceptable variations.
- Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, story sizing, and Agile delivery.
- Continuously improve the discovery-to-development process.

Must-Have Skills




- 35 years of Business Analysis experience.
- Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills.
- Excellent experience creating user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Ability to convert ambiguous business problems into developer-ready requirements.
- Experience working closely with software engineering teams.
- Positive understanding of web applications and browser-based workflows.
- Comfortable using browser developer tools to understand how applications work.
- Strong process mapping and workflow analysis skills.
- Agile/Scrum experience, including:

- Backlog refinement

- Sprint planning

- Story sizing
- Strong stakeholder and client communication.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience creating flowcharts, wireframes, or visual process documentation.
- Ability to quickly understand unfamiliar business domains.

AI-Native Working Candidates should be comfortable using AI tools as part of their daily workflow for activities such as:

- Research and discovery
- Exploring unfamiliar systems
- Brainstorming possible solutions
