Organization Overview
- Seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Technical Architect to lead development architecture for large SAP S/4HANA transformation programs in the steel industry.
Role Purpose
- Lead ABAP technical design, custom code modernization, SAP S/4HANA development strategy, integrations, extensions and governance across Greenfield and Brownfield programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Define ABAP architecture and development standards.
- Lead custom code remediation during ECC to S/4HANA transformation.
- Design CDS Views, AMDP, OData services and Fiori integrations.
- Review technical specifications and development quality.
- Lead interfaces with SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Support data migration, testing, cutover and hypercare.
- Mentor ABAP developers and enforce coding standards.
- Coordinate with functional, Basis, security and business teams.
- Perform performance tuning and technical risk assessments.
Required Experience
- 8–10 years of SAP implementation experience.
- Minimum one Greenfield implementation and two Brownfield/S/4HANA transformation projects.
- Solid expertise in ABAP, OOABAP,
enhancements, workflows, forms and integrations.
- Experience in SAP Activate and Agile delivery methodologies.
