We are looking for a Tech Policy Research Analyst with 4-7 years of experience and strong subject-matter expertise in AI, emerging technologies, semiconductors, electronics, cybersecurity and digital ecosystems .

The candidate should also have a strong understanding of public policy, regulation and geopolitics and be able to translate complex technology developments into transparent, strategic insights with a focus on their policy, industry and India implications .

Key Responsibilities

- Track and analyse developments across AI, emerging technologies, semiconductors, electronics, cybersecurity and digital platforms .
- Conduct research on technology policies, regulations, government programmes and global technology developments .
- Prepare strategic reports, research briefs and weekly intelligence reports .
- Analyse developments beyond news aggregation, covering background, what happened, strategic significance and India implications .
- Conduct market, competitor and industry intelligence across technology sectors.
- Analyse the intersection of technology, geopolitics, policy and global supply chains , including US-China technology competition and export controls.
- Track developments across AI infrastructure, semiconductors, chip manufacturing, cybersecurity, data centres and emerging technologies .
- Identify and analyse developments relevant to India's technology, AI, semiconductor and digital-policy ecosystem .




- Conduct secondary research using government sources, regulatory filings, company disclosures, industry reports and credible media sources .
- Fact-check information and ensure high-quality, evidence-based research outputs .
- Develop charts, graphs and data-driven insights where required.

Required Skills & Expertise
- 4-7 years of relevant experience in technology research, policy research, strategic intelligence, consulting, market intelligence, think tanks or related fields.
- Strong subject-matter understanding of technology and emerging technologies , particularly AI.
- Strong understanding of technology policy and regulation .
- Good understanding of semiconductors, electronics and/or cybersecurity .
- Strong understanding of India's technology and digital-policy landscape .
- Ability to connect technology + policy + geopolitics + markets .
- Excellent research, analytical, writing and fact-checking skills.
- Ability to independently research complex and unfamiliar technology subjects.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple research assignments.

Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Public Policy, International Relations, Political Science, Data Analytics, Business, or a related discipline .

Candidates with strong technology and policy research experience will be preferred regardless of academic background.
