Role - Tech Lead - Azure, .net, AI (RAG/LLM/Agentic)

Location - Bangalore - Work from client location

Focus Area - Solution design, Architecture & build (.NET, AI / RAG), code quality, technical direction, Solution architecture, coding standards, technical designs, PR reviews, Scalable, secure design; consistent code quality

We are seeking an experienced Tech Lead Azure, .NET & AI to lead the design, development, and delivery of cloud-native enterprise applications powered by Microsoft Azure, .NET technologies, and Generative AI. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure cloud services, .NET Core, microservices, AI/LLM integrations, and technical leadership.The Tech Lead will be responsible for solution architecture, technical mentoring, code quality, DevOps, AI adoption, and successful project delivery while working closely with architects, product owners, and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

- Lead a team of software engineers in designing and delivering scalable enterprise applications.
- Define application architecture, coding standards, and engineering best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
- Mentor developers and support technical skill development.
- Drive technical design discussions and solution reviews.

Azure Cloud Development

- Design and build cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure.
- Develop scalable APIs and microservices using .NET Core.
- Implement serverless solutions using Azure Functions.
- Utilize Azure App Services, Azure Storage, Azure Key Vault, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid, Azure Event Hubs, and Azure Logic Apps.
- Manage cloud security, identity, and networking using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Managed Identities, VNets, and Private Endpoints.

.NET Development

- Develop enterprise applications using:
- C#
- .NET Core / .NET 6/7/8
- ASP.NET Core

- Web API

- Entity Framework Core

- LINQ

- Dependency Injection
- Build RESTful APIs and event-driven microservices.




- Optimize application performance and scalability.

AI & Generative AI

- Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) into enterprise applications.
- Develop AI-powered copilots, chatbots, document search, and workflow automation.
- Build Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions using vector databases.
- Implement prompt engineering, function calling, and AI orchestration.
- Integrate with Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, and other foundation models.

Microservices & Integration

- Design distributed systems using microservices architecture.
- Develop asynchronous integrations using Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, Event Hubs, and Kafka (preferred).
- Integrate with REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, and third-party services.

DevOps & CI/CD

- Build CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Containerize applications using Docker.
- Deploy and manage applications on Kubernetes (AKS preferred).
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep preferred).
- Monitor applications using Azure Monitor and Application Insights.

Database Development

- Design and optimize relational and NoSQL databases.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 12+ years of software development experience and min 8+ years in .net technologies.
- 3+ years of technical leadership experience.
- Hands-on experience delivering Azure-based enterprise applications.
- Experience integrating AI capabilities into production systems.
