: Vending Machine Operations Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on and process-driven Vending Machine Operations Manager to lead end-to-end vending operations across Bangalore. The ideal candidate will manage warehouse operations, oversee a team of refiller personnel, ensure optimal stock levels, manage machine locations, and maintain strong client relationships to ensure seamless service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

1. Warehouse Management

- Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and dispatch of vending machine stock (snacks, beverages, consumables, spare parts).
- Ensure proper inventory storage practices (FIFO/FEFO) to minimize wastage and spoilage.
- Maintain warehouse hygiene, safety, and compliance with food storage norms.
- Coordinate with vendors/suppliers for timely replenishment of warehouse stock.
- Conduct periodic audits and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.

1. Refiller Personnel Management

- Recruit, train, and supervise a team of refillers/field staff responsible for machine servicing and restocking.
- Prepare and manage refiller schedules/routes to ensure timely servicing of all machine locations.
- Monitor refiller productivity, punctuality, and adherence to SOPs.
- Handle attendance, leave planning, and manpower allocation across locations.

1. Stock Management

- Plan and forecast stock requirements based on machine-wise consumption patterns.
- Track stock movement from warehouse to individual vending machines.
- Minimize stock-outs and overstocking through data-driven replenishment planning.
- Manage reconciliation of stock vs. sales/cash collected at each machine.
- Implement loss-prevention measures to control pilferage/wastage.

1. Locations Management





- Manage and maintain the database of all vending machine locations across Bangalore.
- Plan optimal refill routes and schedules to maximize operational efficiency.
- Coordinate installation, relocation, and decommissioning of machines as required.
- Ensure all machines are functional, clean, and well-stocked at all times.
- Track machine-wise performance (uptime, sales, servicing frequency).

1. Client Management

- Serve as the primary point of contact for client accounts/sites hosting vending machines.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with facility/admin teams at client locations.
- Address and resolve client complaints or service issues promptly.
- Conduct periodic client visits/reviews to ensure satisfaction and service quality.
- Support business development by identifying opportunities for new machine placements within existing/new client accounts.

Key Requirements

- 2-3 years of experience in operations management, preferably in vending, FMCG, QSR, or facilities management.
- Prior experience managing warehouse/inventory operations and field teams.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets; familiarity with inventory or ERP software is a plus.
- Willingness to travel across Bangalore for site visits and warehouse checks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
