Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Project Lead with 15+ years of experience in Transmission Line, Substation, and HVDC projects. The ideal candidate must have led major765 kV transmission projects, with mandatory experience in 765 kV transmission line projects executed in hilly terrain. Experience in HVDC systems, GIS substations, and EHV infrastructure will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead PMC activities for Transmission Line, Substation, and HVDC project packages while working on site .
- Serve as the primary interface between the Client, EPC contractors, OEMs, and key stakeholders.
- Oversee project execution, ensuring compliance with scope, schedule, budget, quality, and HSE requirements.
- Review construction methodologies, procurement plans, resource deployment, and commissioning schedules.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across transmission lines, substations, HVDC systems, civil, electrical, telecom, SCADA, and protection systems.
- Monitor project milestones, identify risks and delays,



and drive recovery and acceleration plans.
- Lead progress review meetings and provide management-level project reporting.
- Support contract administration, claims management, change control, and stakeholder coordination.
- Ensure project completion, commissioning readiness, energization, and final handover activities.

Mandatory Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in Transmission Line and Substation projects.
- Proven experience leading 765 kV Transmission Line or Substation project.
- Mandatory experience in 765 kV Transmission Line projects in hilly/mountainous terrain.
- Solid understanding of project controls, construction management, contracts, procurement, quality, HSE, and commissioning.
- Experience in managing large multidisciplinary teams and multiple project stakeholders.
