Role Description The Team Lead – Transfer Pricing is a full-time, on-site role based in Preferablyin Kochi. WFH option available for other locations, responsible for overseeing transfer pricing engagements for international and domestic clients.

The role involves managing the preparation and review of transfer pricing documentation, benchmarking studies, and compliance reports in line with applicable regulations and guidelines. The team lead will coordinate with clients to understand their business structures, provide advisory support on transfer pricing strategies, and address queries from tax authorities as needed. Daily responsibilities include supervising team members, reviewing work for accuracy and compliance, ensuring timely delivery of assignments, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of transfer pricing laws and global tax developments.

The role also includes collaborating with internal stakeholders, contributing to process improvements, and supporting training and development of the transfer pricing team.

Qualifications





- 4-5 years of relevant Transfer Pricing / International Tax experience .
- ACCA qualified/ CA Inter qualified/ CMA Inter Qualified
- Prior experience in a Big 4, accounting/advisory firm or specialised Transfer Pricing practice preferred.
- Experience in benchmarking, Local File preparation and economic analysis is essential.
- Strong foundation in Finance and Accounting, with practical exposure to transfer pricing concepts and tax regulations.
- Conduct Transfer Pricing benchmarking studies to determine arm’s-length pricing for various intercompany transactions.
- Prepare Transfer Pricing Local Files in accordance with applicable local regulations and OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines.
- Proficiency in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements and Financial Reporting in a professional services or advisory workplace.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills for interpreting financial data, performing benchmarking studies, and supporting data-driven recommendations.
- Experience leading teams, managing multiple client engagements, and ensuring quality and compliance in deliverables.
- Analyse intercompany transactions such as management services, IT services, royalty, financing, distribution, procurement and other related-party transactions.
- Apply appropriate Transfer Pricing methodologies, including TNMM, CUP, Cost Plus, Resale Price and Profit Split methods .
- Professional qualification such as CA, CMA, CPA, or a relevant postgraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to clients and stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Familiarity with transfer pricing tools, databases, and MS Excel; experience with audit or consulting firms is an advantage.
- Assist in preparation and review of Master Files, TP disclosures and other supporting TP, documentation , where applicable.
