Role & responsibilities

1. Store Operational

Develop business strategies to raise our customers pool, expand store traffic and optimize profitability.

- Responsible for day-to-day performance and operations on the store floor.
- Take a floor walk to ensure that display is arranged in appropriate way.
- Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
- Handle store administration and supervise compliance with policies, procedures and SOP.
- Check store compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and security staff for the same.
- Identify and analyze the sales and set the daily/monthly target accordingly.
- Set staff's schedules and breaks in shift.
- Responsible to do ad-hoc work as and when needed.




- Handle and maintain petty cash register and coordinate with accounts team regarding the same.

1. Stock maintenance/Inventory Management

Check the stock received in the store according to the raised invoice.

- Monitor inventory level and order recent items accordingly. Follow up with the superior regarding same.
- Update stock data in WinBDS system.
- Identify non selling books and arrange display for the same.
- Manage stock to maximize sales potential.
