Role Summary
Asymptotes Global is seeking experienced, passionate, and highly communicative Mathematics & Science Teachers to deliver high-quality academic instruction to students across the Middle East.
The ideal candidate should have a strong conceptual understanding of Mathematics and Science, extensive classroom teaching experience, excellent English communication skills, and the ability to adapt teaching methodologies to students from diverse academic and cultural backgrounds.
The teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, developing academic content, assessing student performance, providing personalised mentorship, and contributing to the continuous improvement of academic outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Learning
- Plan and deliver engaging, concept-driven lessons in Mathematics and Science.
- Teach students across relevant school levels and international curricula.
- Adapt teaching methodologies according to students' age, academic level, learning pace, and individual requirements.
- Explain complex concepts through practical examples, visual aids, demonstrations, activities, and real-world applications.
- Conduct structured classroom and online sessions while maintaining high levels of student engagement.
- Ensure timely completion of the prescribed syllabus as per the academic calendar.
- Provide regular revision, practice, doubt-solving, and examination-preparation sessions.
Academic Excellence
- Develop high-quality lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, presentations, question banks, tests, and revision material.
- Conduct regular assessments to evaluate student understanding and academic progress.
- Analyse student performance and identify learning gaps.
- Provide remedial support to students who require additional academic assistance.
- Challenge high-performing students through advanced questions, application-based learning, and higher-order thinking activities.
- Prepare students effectively for school examinations and other relevant assessments.
Student Development & Mentoring
- Build a positive, encouraging, and academically stimulating learning environment.
- Provide individual attention and personalised academic guidance.
- Mentor students on study techniques, problem-solving, examination strategies, and time management.
- Encourage curiosity, logical thinking, scientific reasoning,
and independent learning.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, performance, and student observations.
- Communicate professionally with parents/guardians regarding student progress and areas of improvement.
Curriculum & Content Development
- Develop and improve academic content aligned with the requirements of Middle Eastern schools and relevant international curricula.
- Create engaging digital learning resources, assignments, assessments, and practice material.
- Contribute to curriculum planning, academic standardisation, and content development.
- Stay updated with changes in curriculum, examination patterns, and international teaching practices.
- Incorporate technology and innovative teaching methodologies into classroom instruction.
Institutional Responsibilities
- Participate in faculty meetings, training programmes, workshops, and professional development initiatives.
- Collaborate with other teachers and academic coordinators to improve student outcomes.
- Support academic events, workshops, competitions, quizzes, and enrichment programmes.
- Maintain professional conduct, confidentiality, discipline, and student safety standards.
- Represent Asymptotes Global professionally while interacting with students, parents, and partner institutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Science, Education, or a related field.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification is preferred.
- Minimum 5–6 years of relevant teaching experience.
- Experience teaching school students across middle and/or secondary grades.
- Experience with international curricula will be an advantage.

- Ability to simplify complex concepts and explain them using multiple teaching approaches.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and mentoring abilities.
- Proficiency with digital teaching tools, smart boards, LMS platforms, video-conferencing software,
and online learning resources.
- Ability to conduct engaging and interactive online classes when required.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage academic responsibilities independently.
- Skilled attitude, punctuality, reliability, and commitment to a full-time role.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 5–6+ years of proven teaching experience.
- Experience teaching students from the Middle East / GCC region will be an advantage.
- Experience with CBSE, ICSE, ISC, IGCSE, Cambridge, IB, British Curriculum, American Curriculum, or other international curricula.
- Experience teaching students from diverse academic and cultural backgrounds.
- Proven track record of improving student performance.
- Experience working with premium schools, international schools, or reputed educational institutions.
- Comfortable teaching both Mathematics and Science, or possessing strong specialisation in either discipline.
- Passionate about education, mentoring, and student development.
