Role Description The Taxation Executive will manage direct and indirect tax compliance and reporting for Kimbal’s operations, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations in India. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and filing tax returns, supporting GST, TDS, and corporate tax processes, and maintaining accurate tax records and documentation.

The role will involve collaborating with finance and operations teams to analyze transactions, address tax-related queries,



and assist in tax planning to optimize compliance and efficiency.

The Taxation

Executive will also liaise with external auditors and tax authorities as needed and contribute to continuous improvements in tax workflows and controls. This is a full-time, in office role based in New Delhi.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of Indian direct and indirect taxation, including GST, TDS, corporate tax, and compliance procedures.
- Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and the use of accounting or ERP software for tax-related tasks.
- Ability to research tax laws and regulations, interpret updates, and prepare accurate documentation and reconciliations.
- Attention to detail, analytical skills, and capability to work with numerical data and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with internal teams, auditors, and tax authorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional tax or accounting certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a taxation or finance role, preferably within technology, utilities, or engineering-focused organizations.
- Comfort working in an innovation-driven, entrepreneurial environment and willingness to adapt to evolving business needs.
