Job Summary

We are hiring a Tax Chat Expert with hands-on experience in US Individual Taxation and the ability to provide accurate and professional support through a live chat workplace.

The ideal candidate should have experience preparing, reviewing, or supporting US Individual Tax Returns, including Form 1040, 1040-NR, and 1040-SR, along with strong written communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle live customer chat interactions and provide timely, accurate, and professional assistance.
- Independently resolve customer queries and deliver a seamless customer experience.
- Work towards achieving first-contact resolution wherever possible.
- Provide accurate guidance and recommended next steps while maintaining compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
- Document important notes and outcomes from customer interactions.
- Communicate technical tax concepts in a simple, clear, and jargon-free manner.




- Meet established turnaround time and service-level expectations.

Required Skills

- Minimum 3 years of experience in US Individual Taxation.
- Experience preparing, reviewing, or supporting 1040, 1040-NR, and 1040-SR.
- Working knowledge of US Tax Live / Expert Assist service models.
- Excellent written English communication and chat-handling skills.
- Ability to explain technical tax concepts clearly to customers.
- Strong customer-service orientation with a compliance-focused approach.
- English proficiency at B2+ level or above.
- Comfortable working US shifts, primarily EST hours.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- MBA in Accounting & Finance preferred.
