Role Description The Tax and Audit Assistant will support the finance and compliance functions of clients by preparing and reviewing tax-related documentation and assisting in statutory and internal audits. Day-to-day responsibilities include working on financial statements, supporting audit planning and execution, compiling audit evidence, and helping draft audit reports under the guidance of senior team members.

The role also involves maintaining accurate records, coordinating with clients for required information,



and ensuring timely completion of tax filings and compliance activities. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mangaluru, requiring close collaboration with the accounting and audit team.

Qualifications

- Strong understanding of Finance and the ability to work with basic accounting and taxation concepts.
- Experience or familiarity with Financial Statements and their preparation or review.
- Exposure to Financial Audits and the preparation of supporting documentation for audit processes.
- Ability to assist in drafting and reviewing Audit Reports in line with applicable standards.
- Well-developed Analytical Skills for interpreting financial data and identifying discrepancies.
- Relevant academic background in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and common accounting software; comfort with digital work environments.
- Attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to follow professional and regulatory guidelines.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in an in office team setting.
