Position description: Join Jindal Stainless Limited's Central QA - SMS department as a key technical professional responsible for supporting quality assurance processes within the mining and metals industry. This role involves assisting in the implementation and monitoring of quality management systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain product quality, optimize processes, and uphold safety and environmental standards in a agile manufacturing environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality assurance protocols and standard operating procedures in line with industry regulations and company policies.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of raw materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
Support the analysis and documentation of quality data, identifying trends and areas for improvement to enhance product reliability and process efficiency.
Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to troubleshoot quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Participate in supplier quality management by evaluating supplier performance and assisting in supplier audits to ensure material compliance.
Assist in the calibration and maintenance of quality testing equipment to guarantee accurate and reliable measurement results.
Contribute to the preparation of quality reports, certifications, and compliance documentation required for internal and external audits.
Support training initiatives by providing technical guidance and quality awareness to operational staff to foster a culture of quality and safety.
