We combine a premium, company-owned chain of luxury salons (VR Virajya Luxury Salon & Atelier) with a high-end, proprietary clinical skincare and grooming brand (VR Virajya Botanicals). Combining a high-touch service salon network with an IP-led D2C product line, our mission is to scale rapidly across North and Central India, establishing a national footprint on the path to a public listing.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a high-caliber, analytical, and execution-driven Supply Chain & Procurement Manager (SCM) to own the end-to-end supply chain infrastructure for VR Virajya Botanicals and our multi-city salon network.

You will bridge the gap between our third-party contract manufacturing labs, our regional warehousing, and our expanding fleet of flagship luxury salons. Your goal is to ensure 100% stock availability on retail and backbar lines, enforce strict regulatory and quality compliance (COS-9 licensing), and optimize cost-per-client backbar efficiencies without ever compromising our uncompromised jewellery-house luxury standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Contract Manufacturing & Production Management

- Oversee third-party white-label and contract manufacturing partners to ensure production schedules, batch sizes, and delivery timelines are strictly met.
- Manage SKU-level production orders (ranging from Phase 1 pilot batches to full-scale multi-unit runs) across active skincare, professional cabin facial kits, pedicure systems, and men's grooming lines.




- Coordinate raw material availability, primary/secondary packaging procurement (frosted glass bottles, airless pumps, custom soft-touch matte outer cartons with gold-foil stamped Vasundhra Raj Bird Crest), and batch testing.

2. Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance

- Ensure complete compliance with the Cosmetics Rules, 2020, managing state COS-9 loan licence protocols alongside manufacturer COS-8 clearances.
- Audit batch-wise Certificates of Analysis (COA), microbial test reports, and stability-testing dossiers prior to warehouse dispatch.
- Maintain strict labeling discipline, ensuring Legal Metrology and statutory declarations (MRP, batch numbers, manufacturing/expiry dates, ingredients) are flawlessly executed.

1. Inventory Forecasting & Warehouse Logistics

* Implement and manage inventory forecasting models to prevent stock-outs across retail shelves while avoiding dead-stock accumulation.
- Oversee central warehousing, regional transit logistics, and stock replenishment schedules for all operating salon locations and D2C fulfillment centers.
- Track Input Tax Credit (ITC) management and coordinate closely with the finance team regarding 18% GST job-work reconciliations.

Backbar Cost & Salon Operations Support

* Manage bulk procurement of backbar supplies (1L to 5L professional shampoos, masks, and neutralizers) to protect salon service EBITDA and keep consumable service costs under strict control.
- Monitor inventory leakage, shrinkage, and waste logs across all salon locations using our centralized ERP platform.

QUALIFICATIONS & CORE COMPETENCIES

- Experience: 3 to 6 years of supply chain, procurement, or operations management experience, ideally within the FMCG, D2C beauty, cosmetics, or luxury retail sectors.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA or specialized SCM certification is a strong plus).
- Regulatory Knowledge: Working familiarity with CDSCO regulations, state licensing (COS-6/COS-9), GMP standards, and Legal Metrology packaging rules.
- Analytical Rigor: Advanced proficiency in inventory planning, ERP systems, and Excel-based modeling for demand forecasting.
- Execution Mindset: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of operating in a high-velocity, compressed expansion workplace.
