Job Title: Supply Chain Management Associate (Aus)

Timings: 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Management Associate to manage end-to-end supply chain and logistics activities for domestic and international shipments for Australian business. The role requires strong multitasking, analytical and coordination skills, with the ability to manage information from multiple sources and deliver accurate operational and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor domestic and international shipments from multiple origins through to final delivery.
- Track shipments, ETAs, delays and exceptions, and proactively follow up with suppliers and freight forwarders.
- Obtain and compare freight quotations, including pricing, transit times and service terms, and support freight provider selection.
- Maintain accurate shipment registers and ensure all logistics information is current and complete.
- Maintain and organize documentation, including BOLs, PODs, commercial invoices, packing lists, freight quotations and other relevant documents.
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, transport providers, warehouses, customs/brokers and internal teams to resolve shipment and delivery issues.
- Review freight and logistics invoices against approved quotations and shipment details and identify discrepancies.
- Prepare weekly and monthly supply chain reports covering shipments, costs, delays, expected receipts and outstanding actions.
- Consolidate and analyse information from multiple systems, spreadsheets, supplier records and logistics portals to produce accurate and meaningful management reports.
- Prepare and maintain a weekly cash flow forecast based on upcoming shipments, expected supplier payments, freight, customs, transport and other shipment-related outgoings.
- Work closely with Finance to ensure expected shipment costs and commitments are reflected accurately in cash flow forecasts.
- Monitor goods in transit and expected inventory receipts and highlight potential supply or delivery issues.
- Maintain robust relationships with suppliers and logistics providers and ensure timely resolution of outstanding matters.
- Identify opportunities to improve logistics costs, processes, shipment planning and overall supply chain efficiency.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, freight or a similar role
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent communication, follow-up and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Experience working with Australian businesses and logistics providers is advantageous.
- Experience with MYOB and Netstock would be preferred
Qualifications:
- B. Com
- BBA
- MBA logistics and supply chain management preferred
