The group combines a premium, company-owned chain of luxury salons — VR Virajya Luxury Salon & Atelier with a proprietary clinical skincare and grooming brand — VR Virajya Botanicals.

With a high-touch luxury salon network and an IP-led D2C product line, the company is focused on rapid expansion across North and Central India, with a long-term vision of establishing a strong national presence.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for a highly analytical, organised and execution-driven Supply Chain & Procurement Manager to take ownership of the end-to-end supply chain and procurement operations for our skincare business and expanding multi-city luxury salon network.

The role will involve managing the complete supply chain ecosystem — from contract manufacturing and procurement to warehousing, inventory planning, logistics and salon replenishment.

The ideal candidate should have strong vendor management, procurement, inventory planning, cost optimisation and operational execution capabilities and should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. CONTRACT MANUFACTURING & PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT

- Oversee third-party white-label and contract manufacturing partners to ensure production schedules, batch sizes and delivery timelines are strictly maintained.
- Manage SKU-level production orders, from pilot batches to full-scale multi-unit production.
- Coordinate production requirements across skincare products, professional cabin facial kits, pedicure systems and men's grooming products.
- Coordinate raw material availability and procurement with manufacturing partners.
- Manage procurement of primary and secondary packaging materials, including bottles, pumps, cartons and other customized packaging requirements.
- Coordinate batch testing, production schedules and dispatch approvals.

1. REGULATORY COMPLIANCE & QUALITY ASSURANCE

- Ensure applicable compliance with Cosmetics Rules, 2020 and relevant state licensing requirements.
- Coordinate with manufacturing partners regarding applicable COS-8 / COS-9 licensing and documentation requirements.
- Review and maintain Certificates of Analysis (COA), microbial test reports and stability-testing documentation on a batch-wise basis.
- Ensure proper quality documentation and compliance records are maintained before warehouse dispatch.
- Ensure accurate and compliant product labelling, including MRP, batch number, manufacturing/expiry dates, ingredients and statutory declarations.
- Coordinate with relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure quality and regulatory compliance throughout the supply chain.

1. INVENTORY FORECASTING & WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT

- Develop and manage inventory forecasting and demand planning models to maintain optimum stock levels.




- Prevent stock-outs, overstocking and dead-stock accumulation through effective inventory planning.
- Oversee central warehousing, regional logistics and stock replenishment for salon locations and D2C fulfilment operations.
- Monitor SKU-wise inventory movement, stock ageing, reorder levels and consumption patterns.
- Coordinate with the Finance team regarding inventory, taxation and applicable GST/job-work reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate inventory records, stock reconciliation and warehouse documentation.
- Establish efficient systems for stock tracking and inventory control across multiple locations.

1. PROCUREMENT & VENDOR MANAGEMENT

- Identify, evaluate and onboard reliable suppliers, vendors, manufacturers and logistics partners.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, minimum order quantities, quality standards and delivery timelines.
- Develop and maintain strong long-term vendor relationships.
- Monitor vendor performance based on quality, pricing, lead time, service and delivery performance.
- Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, finished products, packaging materials, salon consumables and operational supplies.
- Maintain proper Purchase Orders, quotations, invoices, vendor records and procurement documentation.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimisation and procurement efficiency.

1. SALON BACKBAR & OPERATIONS SUPPORT

- Manage bulk procurement of professional backbar supplies and salon consumables.
- Ensure uninterrupted availability of products required for salon operations.
- Monitor consumption, wastage, leakage and shrinkage across salon locations.
- Analyse product consumption and implement measures to improve cost-per-client and backbar efficiency.
- Coordinate regular stock replenishment across multiple salon locations.
- Work closely with salon operations teams to understand and forecast their ongoing requirements.

1. LOGISTICS & DISTRIBUTION

- Manage coordination with logistics and transportation partners for timely movement of products and materials.
- Track dispatches, shipments, deliveries and lead times.
- Ensure efficient movement of inventory between manufacturers, warehouses, salons and D2C fulfilment centres.
- Resolve delivery delays, shortages, damages and other logistics-related issues.
- Develop processes to improve delivery efficiency and logistics cost optimisation.

1. REPORTING & PROCESS DEVELOPMENT

- Prepare regular Procurement, Inventory, Vendor, Logistics and Supply Chain Performance Reports.
- Monitor key supply chain metrics including inventory turnover, stock availability, procurement cost, lead time, wastage and vendor performance.
- Develop and implement effective Supply Chain SOPs and operational processes.
- Identify operational gaps and implement process improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with Management, Finance, Operations,



Sales and other departments to ensure smooth business operations.
- Support the organisation in building a scalable supply chain infrastructure for multi-city expansion.

QUALIFICATIONS & CORE COMPETENCIES
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Purchase or Operations Management.
- Experience in FMCG, D2C, Beauty, Cosmetics, Skincare, Luxury Retail or similar industries will be highly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration or a related field.
- MBA / specialized Supply Chain or Procurement certification will be an added advantage.
- Working knowledge of applicable Cosmetics Regulations, GMP standards and Legal Metrology requirements will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of Procurement, Vendor Management, Inventory Planning, Warehouse Management and Logistics.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, MIS and inventory planning tools.
- Strong analytical ability and experience with demand forecasting and inventory modelling.
- Excellent negotiation, communication and vendor management skills.
- Strong planning, coordination and problem-solving abilities.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented and capable of handling multiple priorities.
- Strong execution mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced and high-growth environment.
- Comfortable coordinating with multiple vendors, manufacturers and operational locations.
- Candidates from North India will be preferred.
