Job Purpose

To supervise and coordinate all interior, civil finishing, renovation, and facility improvement activities at the plant/office premises, ensuring timely execution, quality workmanship, cost control, safety compliance, and proper coordination with contractors and internal departments.
1. Key Responsibilities

- Supervise day-to-day interior and civil finishing activities at the site.
- Execute interior works such as false ceiling, flooring, painting, partition, carpentry, furniture installation, electrical coordination, plumbing, glass/aluminium work and other finishing activities.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, painters and other workmen.
- Monitor work progress against approved drawings, specifications, BOQ and timelines.
- Ensure proper measurement of completed work before certification/payment.
- Check quality of materials and workmanship and ensure compliance with approved specifications.
- Coordinate with Purchase/Stores for timely availability of required materials.
- Maintain daily work progress reports, material consumption records and contractor attendance.
- Identify site requirements, deviations, defects and quality issues and report them to the concerned authority.




- Ensure rectification of defective or incomplete work by contractors.
- Monitor contractor manpower and productivity.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and cleanliness at the work location.
- Ensure that work is carried out without disturbing normal plant/office operations.
- Coordinate with the EHS/Safety Team and ensure compliance with safety requirements, particularly during work at height, electrical work, hot work and other hazardous activities.
- Ensure proper use of PPE by contractors and workers.
- Verify contractor bills based on actual work completed and approved measurements.
- Assist in preparation of estimates, BOQ, material requirements and comparative statements.
- Maintain records of drawings, work orders, measurements, approvals and completion reports.
- Conduct regular site inspections and provide status updates to management.
- Support renovation, modification and maintenance projects as assigned.
- Ensure timely completion of projects within approved budget and schedule.
- Coordinate snag identification and closure before project handover.
- Perform any other duties related to interior, civil and facility projects as assigned by management.

1. Required Skills & Competencies

- Positive knowledge of interior and civil finishing work.
- Practical knowledge of BOQ, measurements, estimation and material requirements.
- Ability to read basic drawings and layouts.
- Good contractor and manpower management skills.
- Knowledge of construction/interior materials and their applications.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to monitor multiple activities simultaneously.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and reporting.
- Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills.
- Safety-conscious approach.
- Ability to work independently at site and coordinate with multiple departments.

1. Preferred Experience

Experience in industrial plants, manufacturing units, corporate offices, commercial buildings, hotels, hospitals or similar large-scale facilities will be preferred.
1. Authority & Accountability

The Supervisor – Interior will be responsible for ensuring that assigned interior and civil works are executed safely, within the approved scope, budget and timeline, and as per required quality standards, while maintaining proper documentation and contractor accountability. Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
