Key Responsibilities

- We are seeking a Subject Matter Expert in AI platform infrastructure to own the environments our Business AI Cloud deployments run in, with a focus on private cloud, virtual private cloud, and on-premises deployments inside regulated enterprises. You will bring deep Linux, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure expertise, and the experience to take an AI platform through a large enterprise;s own security review and into its landing zone.
- This role is central to our sovereign and regulated deployment practice.
- Design and run the infrastructure for Business AI Cloud deployments across SaaS, virtual private cloud, private cloud, and on-premises environments.
- Deploy and operate containerised platform workloads on Kubernetes or OpenShift, including sizing, scaling, and high availability.
- Plan and optimise GPU and CPU capacity for model inference and fine-tuning workloads.
- Integrate deployments into the clients own cloud landing zones:



networking, identity and SSO, secrets management, logging, and monitoring.
- Implement security hardening, vulnerability management, and compliance controls, and support client security reviews and audits through to approval.
- Connect the platform to enterprise data sources using zero-copy patterns, so data stays inside the client;s controlled environment.
- Build automation with Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and CI/CD so deployments are repeatable across clients, and document the reference deployment.

Experience/Qualifications

- Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, data science, or a similar field, with 5+ years of engineering experience including 2+ years in customer-facing or field roles.
- Proven experience building and shipping production software: full-stack skills (Python plus Node.js or Go; React or a similar front-end framework), Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
- Strong enterprise integration experience: REST, SQL, GraphQL, webhooks, and data pipelines across enterprise systems.
- Hands-on production experience with LLM applications: prompt engineering, vector databases (for example Pinecone, Weaviate), RAG pipelines (for example LlamaIndex, Haystack), and agent orchestration frameworks (for example LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI). MCP-based integration experience is a plus.
- Experience fine-tuning or distilling language models is a robust advantage.
- Ability to translate ambiguous client needs into clear engineering plans, and to communicate well with senior business and technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to work on-site with clients as required by the engagement.
