Role Description The Student Counselor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kochi. The counselor will guide students through choosing suitable courses, universities, and countries, based on their academic profile, interests, and career aspirations. Daily responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, explaining study abroad options, supporting application and documentation processes, and coordinating with parents or guardians.

The role also involves maintaining accurate records, responding to inquiries in person, by phone, and online, and ensuring a high level of customer service throughout the student journey.



The counselor may also participate in educational fairs, workshops, and outreach activities to promote the organization’s services.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Student Counseling and Career Counseling skills to advise learners on academic pathways and future opportunities.

- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to interact clearly and professionally with students, families, and institutional partners.

- Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to provide supportive, timely, and respectful assistance to all stakeholders.

- Candidates should possess a positive understanding of Education systems and admission processes for key study destinations.

- Relevant bachelor’s degree (e.g., Education, Psychology, Social Sciences, or related field) is preferred.

- Previous experience in student counseling, study abroad consulting, or education services is an advantage.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team, manage multiple cases, and maintain confidentiality of student information.

- Proficiency in English; knowledge of local languages is beneficial.
