? BioCatalyst Incubator is Looking for Mentors!
BioCatalyst Incubator is a digital career incubator and skills accelerator for Biotechnology and Life Sciences students. We help UG and PG students turn classroom knowledge into real, job-ready skills. We are a registered Micro Enterprise under the Ministry of MSME, Government of India.
We're launching a hands-on lecture and masterclass series for UG and PG students as part of our commitment to give back to the student community, and we need mentors to lead it. If you have hands-on expertise in bioinformatics, wet-lab research, or any core biotechnology domain and want to mentor the next generation of researchers, we'd love to hear from you.
The Tracks We Need Mentors For
? Advanced Bioinformatics & In Silico Engineering Masterclasses on sequence alignment, computational primer engineering, vector construction, and 3D molecular docking. Tools covered include NCBI, BLAST, PyMOL, and Benchling. Sessions on NGS, genomics, and other omics workflows are also welcome.
? Virtual Wet-Lab Data Insights Deep-dive sessions on decoding real research data and troubleshooting common protocol errors.
Topics include Flow Cytometry gating, Western Blotting error analysis, CRISPR off-target modelling, and Mammalian Cell Culture dynamics.
? Biotechnology & Translational Research Masterclasses connecting the bench to real-world application — drug discovery and development, proteomics and metabolomics, functional genomics, and disease-focused sessions in oncology and immunology. Mentors with hands-on cell culture, assay development, or industry R&D; experience are especially welcome.
Who We're Looking For: PhD scholars, postdocs, research scientists, or industry professionals with hands-on experience in any of the areas above. Comfortable breaking down technical workflows for a UG/PG audience. Willing to design and lead at least one masterclass as part of this mentorship series.
