Role & responsibilities

1. Perform structural analysis and design of railing, balustrade, and guardrail systems using STAAD Pro.

2. Prepare design calculations, load analysis, and compliance reports as per relevant codes (IS/BS/ASTM/IBC).

3. Develop detailed fabrication drawings, GA drawings, and BOM using AutoCAD / SolidWorks / Revit.

4. Review architectural drawings and project specifications to derive engineering requirements.

5. Optimize designs for material efficiency, manufacturability, and installation feasibility.

6. Conduct design validation, risk assessment, and provide technical approvals.

7. Collaborate with sales, project management, procurement, and production teams for timely project delivery.

8. Provide technical support during client meetings, site visits, and installation stages.

9. Ensure adherence to quality, safety,



and statutory standards.

10. Mentor junior engineers and support continuous engineering improvement initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Strong command of STAAD Pro for structural design & analysis.

2. Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, 3D modeling, and drafting standards.

3. Positive understanding of relevant standards: IS 875, IS 800, NBC, BS EN standards for railing design.

4. Technical expertise in steel/aluminum/glass railing systems.

5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

6. Effective communication and project coordination abilities.
