A.A.A. Engineering Consultants is looking for a Structural Civil Draftsman / Draftswoman to join our in-house Structural Engineering team (Internal Hiring) in Chennai.

Important: This is direct company hiring. A.A.A. Engineering Consultants is a Structural Engineering Consultancy, not a staffing or manpower supply company.

Job Details

- Position: Structural Civil Draftsman / Draftswoman
- Experience: 1–6 Years
- Location: Ashok Nagar, Chennai-600083
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Working Days: 6 Days per Week
- Working Hours: 10:30 AM – 7:30 PM

Responsibilities
- Prepare RCC Structural Drawings using AutoCAD or ZWCAD.
- Prepare Steel Structural Drawings.
- Prepare foundation, column, beam, slab and staircase drawings.
- Prepare structural sections and details.
- Prepare reinforcement drawings as per the Structural Engineer's requirements.
- Prepare steel framing and connection details.
- Make drawing revisions as instructed by the Structural Engineer.
- Maintain proper layers, line thickness, line types, dimensions, text and annotations.
- Follow proper CAD drafting standards and drawing formats.
- Coordinate with Structural Engineers and other team members.
- Check drawings for basic errors before submission.




- Maintain proper drawing files and revisions.

Required Skills
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD or ZWCAD.
- Good knowledge of RCC Drafting.
- Good knowledge of Steel Drafting.
- Understanding of structural drawings and construction drawings.
- Knowledge of layers and line weights.
- Basic knowledge of XREF, blocks, dimensions, hatching and plotting.
- Ability to read and understand structural drawings.
- Good attention to detail.

Qualification
- Diploma in Civil Engineering, or
- B.E. / B.Tech Civil Engineering, or
- M.E. / M.Tech Civil / Structural Engineering.

Preferred Candidate Candidates with 1–6 years of experience in Structural Drafting will be preferred.

Experience in both RCC and Steel Structural Drawings will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
