Key Responsibilities- Execute end to end sale order engineering, product design and development.- Review of customer/technical specifications, analyse requirement and propose engineered solutions.- Perform engineering calculations and design as required for existing or new products.- Creation of GA, 3D models, assemblies, manufacturing drawings and BOM using solid works, AutoCAD and IFS- Check and/or approve drawings, bills of material and reports as required.- Work independently or as a team member in the global engineering setting.- Interactions with IMI global engineering teams for efficient execution of the projects.- Initiates “Engineering Change Order” as required when changes are made to product design, drawings, or manufacturing processes. Reviews and approves revisions to drawings, bills of material,
and procedures as required.- Manage all projects within scope of responsibility to meet desired deadlines and outcomes.- Performs other work-related assignments deemed necessary and appropriate by supervisor.
Critical Competencies for Success- Knowledge of Control Valve Design and Engineering is required.- Solid CAD skills (Part modelling, Drafting and Assembly) in Solid works & AutoCAD, CAD automation preferred.- Working experience in IFS or ERP.- Ability to review technical specifications, engineering standards and produce associated design documentation.-
- Understanding of GD&T; dimensioning and familiar with drafting practices as per ASME Y14.5.- Familiarity with general manufacturing processes, quality, and materials.- Should have excellent English communication skills, be self-motivated, a self-starter, have a sense of urgency, be personable and well organized.- Experience in communication with Global clients is added advantage.- Education qualification and Experience: Degree
