We are seeking a Product Owner with strong experience in Agile software development, frontend technologies, and a proven ability to collaborate closely with UX design and Engineering. This role bridges technical execution and user-centered design, translating UX specifications into actionable Rally work items (Epics, Features, and User Stories) with T-shirt size estimates and well-defined acceptance criteria. The Product Owner will own the backlog, facilitate team grooming and sprint planning, and demo features to customers and UX to validate functionality, gather feedback, and ensure alignment with the product vision.
Background in complex domains such as healthcare, enterprise platforms, or regulated industries a plus.
Certified Scrum Product Owner certification a plus.
Key Responsibilities
Own and manage the product backlog, translating product vision and customer needs into transparent, prioritized user stories.
Ensure product requirements reflect both technical feasibility and UX intent.
Collaborates with Product Managers/Technical Program Managers (TPM) to decompose features into consumable user stories.
Collaborates with UX Designers to understand requirements and translates them into user stories.
Prioritizes and leads backlog grooming, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies while collaborating with Program Managers.
Translate UX specifications into Rally work items (Epics, Features, and User Stories)
Assign T-shirt size estimates to backlog items and facilitate backlog grooming sessions to prepare the team for delivery
Provides engineers with well-defined acceptance criteria that incorporates UX considerations (e.g., responsiveness, accessibility, consistency)
Partner with QA to validate that delivered functionality meets UX expectations and design fidelity
Demo features and product increments to customers and UX to gather feedback, ensure alignment with requirements, and demonstrate business value.
