Key Responsibilities
- Conduct topographical, route, and alignment surveys for road construction projects.
- Perform site measurements and establish survey control points.
- Operate survey equipment such as Total Station, Auto Level, DGPS, and other surveying instruments.
- Prepare survey drawings, maps, and reports.
- Verify project layouts, road alignments, and construction levels.
- Coordinate with project engineers, site supervisors, and contractors.
- Ensure survey activities comply with project specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate survey records and documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Survey Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in road, highway, or infrastructure surveying projects.
- Proficiency in using surveying instruments and relevant software such as AutoCAD and survey data processing tools.
- Solid understanding of road alignment, leveling, and construction survey practices.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working on government road projects, highways, or infrastructure developments.
- Knowledge of DGPS and GIS-based surveying techniques.
- Ability to work independently in field conditions.
