Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Stores Manager to oversee the entire stores and inventory operations in our manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate should have experience in the Cement or Steel industry and possess strong knowledge of inventory control, material management, ERP systems, and warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day stores and warehouse operations.
- Ensure timely receipt, storage, and issue of materials.
- Maintain optimum inventory levels and prevent stock ,shortages.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and inventory reconciliation.
- Monitor inward and outward material movements.
- Maintain proper documentation, including GRN, MRN, Issue Slips, and Stock Registers.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Maintenance, and Finance departments.
- Ensure proper storage, identification, and preservation of materials.
- Monitor slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete inventory.
- Implement FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.




- Lead and supervise store personnel.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline (Diploma/B.Tech preferred).
- Certification in Materials Management or Supply Chain is an added advantage.

Experience

- 8 to 15 years of experience in Stores/Warehouse Management.
- Experience in Cement or Steel Manufacturing is preferred.
