Position: Store Manager

Department: Stores & Warehouse

Location: Bhopal / Mandideep

Experience: 5+ years

Industry Preference: Manufacturing / Battery / Chemical / Process Industry

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end store and warehouse operations, including receipt, storage, preservation and issuance of materials.
- Ensure proper inward and outward movement of raw materials, consumables, spares, finished goods and other inventory.
- Maintain accurate stock records, inventory registers and ERP/HRMS entries.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely availability of critical materials for production and maintenance.
- Implement proper FIFO/FEFO, bin management, material identification and storage practices.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Maintenance, Finance and Quality teams for material requirements and inventory planning.
- Ensure proper documentation for GRN, material issue slips, transfer notes, return notes and other store-related records.
- Control obsolete, excess, damaged and slow-moving inventory and maintain appropriate records.




- Ensure proper storage and handling of materials in compliance with safety, EHS and company procedures.
- Supervise store personnel, allocate work and monitor team performance.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and 5S standards within the store and warehouse.
- Develop and implement SOPs for inventory control, material handling, storage and dispatch.
- Prepare and share regular reports on stock status, consumption, shortages, excess inventory and discrepancies.
- Coordinate with vendors and transporters for material receipt and dispatch activities, wherever required.
- Support internal/external audits and ensure timely closure of store-related observations.
- Identify opportunities for inventory optimization, cost reduction and process improvement.
