We are looking for an experienced and responsible Store Manager to manage day-to-day store and warehouse operations at our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for material receiving, storage, inventory control, material issuance, stock accuracy, documentation, and team management.
The candidate should have strong knowledge of inventory management and be comfortable working with Tally, MIS systems, Excel, stock reports, and warehouse processes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Store & Inventory Management
- Manage all day-to-day activities of the stores/warehouse.
- Ensure proper receiving, identification, storage, and preservation of materials.
- Maintain accurate physical and system stock.
- Monitor minimum/maximum stock levels and highlight shortages or excess inventory.
- Ensure proper FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable.
- Conduct regular stock verification and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies.
1. Material Receiving & Inspection
- Receive incoming raw materials, components, consumables, and other items.
- Verify quantity against purchase orders, invoices, challans, and other documents.
- Coordinate with Purchase and Quality teams for material inspection and acceptance.
- Ensure proper documentation of rejected, damaged, or excess materials.
1. Material Issue & Production Support
- Issue materials to Production and other departments against authorized requirements.
- Maintain proper records of material movement.
- Ensure timely availability of materials to avoid production delays.
- Monitor material consumption and unusual usage.
1. Documentation & MIS
- Maintain GRN, material issue, return, transfer, and stock adjustment records.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly inventory reports.
- Maintain accurate ERP/MIS entries for all inward and outward transactions.
- Prepare stock ageing, slow-moving, non-moving, and shortage reports.
- Maintain proper documentation for internal and external audits.
1. Team Management
- Supervise and guide store executives, supervisors, helpers, and other store staff.
- Allocate daily responsibilities and monitor team performance.
- Ensure discipline, housekeeping, and safety within the store.
- Conduct regular training on store procedures and material handling.
1. Coordination
- Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Quality, Accounts, Logistics, and Maintenance departments.
- Follow up on pending material receipts and shortages.
- Support production planning by ensuring material availability.
- Escalate critical stock shortages, discrepancies, and operational issues to management.
1. Safety & Housekeeping
- Ensure proper storage and labeling of materials.
- Maintain 5S and housekeeping standards in the store.
- Ensure safe material handling and stacking practices.
- Prevent unauthorized access and movement of materials.
- Ensure fire and safety guidelines are followed.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- 3–5 years of experience in stores/warehouse operations, preferably in a manufacturing company.
- Good knowledge of inventory management and warehouse processes.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/MIS systems.
- Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Good communication and team-management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Preferred Experience Experience in an LED/electrical/electronics manufacturing environment or similar manufacturing industry will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
