Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible, energetic, and customer-focused Store Manager to manage the daily operations of our retail store at Samkranthi, Kottayam. Our store specializes in trolleys, travel bags, backpacks, handbags, luggage, and other bag-related products.

The Store Manager will be responsible for achieving sales targets, managing staff, maintaining inventory, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the store.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the retail store.
- Drive sales and achieve monthly sales targets.
- Welcome customers and assist them in selecting suitable trolleys, luggage, travel bags, backpacks, and other products.
- Explain product features, quality, pricing, warranty, and usage to customers.
- Handle customer queries, complaints, exchanges, and service-related concerns professionally.
- Manage, train, and motivate sales staff to improve performance.
- Prepare staff schedules and allocate daily responsibilities.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of products.
- Maintain accurate inventory and stock records.
- Ensure proper product arrangement and attractive visual merchandising.
- Monitor billing, cash handling, and daily sales reconciliation.
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation.




- Track daily and monthly sales performance and report to management.
- Implement promotional offers and sales campaigns.
- Monitor competitor pricing, products, and market trends.
- Minimize product damage, stock loss, and discrepancies.
- Coordinate with suppliers and management whenever required.
- Ensure smooth customer experience from product enquiry to purchase.

Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in retail/store management preferred.
- Experience in luggage, bags, fashion accessories, footwear, or lifestyle retail will be an advantage.
- Strong communication and customer-handling skills.
- Good sales and negotiation skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a sales team.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and billing/POS systems.
- Basic computer and MS Excel knowledge.
- Valuable problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work in a target-oriented retail environment.
- Malayalam and English communication skills preferred.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who is honest, proactive, sales-driven, and capable of independently handling the store. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in retail sales and be comfortable interacting with customers and managing a team.

Location: Samkranthi, Kottayam, Kerala

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
