Role & responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day activities of the stores

- Receive incoming materials and verify quantity, quality, and documentation against purchase orders.

- Ensure proper storage, identification, labeling, and preservation of materials.

- Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP systems.

- Monitor stock levels

- Ensure timely issue of materials to production and other departments.

- Implement FIFO practices wherever applicable.

- Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Quality

- Ensure proper documentation for receipts, issues, transfers, returns, and dispatches.

- Prepare and submit inventory and stores-related reports to management.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Inventory accuracy

- Physical Stock-out frequency

- Material availability to production

- Inventory carrying cost





- GRN and material issue accuracy

- Material handling losses/damages

Preferred candidate profile

- 7 to 10 years of experience in stores operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

- Experience in handling raw materials, Electric motor spares, consumables, and production-related inventory is preferred.

- Experience with ERP systems is desirable.
