Position: Storekeeper – Construction Experience: 2+ Years Qualification: Any Degree / Diploma preferred Location: Coimbatore

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Storekeeper with minimum 2 years of experience in construction materials and civil project stores. The candidate should be responsible for material receipt, storage, issue, stock maintenance, and verification of vendor bills.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive and verify construction materials such as cement, steel, sand, aggregates, plumbing and electrical materials, etc.
- Maintain proper stock registers and inventory records.
- Issue materials to site teams based on approved requirements.
- Monitor daily stock levels and prepare material requirement reports.
- Verify materials against purchase orders, delivery challans, and invoices.
- Maintain proper documentation for material receipts and issues.
- Check and verify civil/construction vendor bills with delivery challans, purchase orders, quantities, and rates.
- Coordinate with the Project, Purchase, Accounts, and Site teams regarding materials and bills.
- Identify shortages, excess quantities, damages, or discrepancies and report them to management.
- Ensure proper storage, handling,



and security of construction materials.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile differences.
- Maintain records of returned, damaged, and unused materials.
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and properly maintained.

Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Storekeeper, preferably in construction/civil projects.
- Good knowledge of construction and civil materials.
- Experience in checking vendor bills, invoices, purchase orders, and delivery challans.
- Good inventory and stock-management skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Positive communication and coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain proper documentation and records.
- Honest, responsible, and organized with good time-management skills.

Preferred Candidate: A responsible and detail-oriented Storekeeper with 2+ years of construction-store experience, good knowledge of civil materials, and hands-on experience in vendor bill verification and inventory management. Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
