Role & responsibilities
- Receive and verify incoming materials against purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices.
- Inspect materials for quantity, quality, and physical condition.
- Perform goods receipt and other relevant inventory transactions in SAP.
- Issue materials to departments based on approved requests.
- Maintain accurate stock records and ensure proper material identification and storage.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies with SAP records.
- Support stock transfers, returns, and material movements in SAP.
- Prepare and maintain store documentation, including GRN, material issue slips, and stock reports.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, housekeeping, and secure handling of materials.
- Monitor minimum/maximum stock levels and report shortages or excess inventory.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Maintenance,
Finance, and other departments regarding material requirements.
- Follow company policies related to inventory control, safety, and warehouse operations.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of SAP MM / Inventory Management.
- Experience with goods receipt, goods issue, stock transfer, and inventory adjustments.
- Ability to check material codes, purchase orders, stock quantities, and inventory status in SAP.
- Understanding of SAP-based inventory reconciliation and reporting.
- Familiarity with barcode/scanner-based inventory processes is an advantage.
