Role Description The Statutory Compliance Executive (PESO Certification) is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. The role involves managing and monitoring compliance with PESO (Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organization) regulations and other applicable statutory requirements for propane and SSLNG distribution operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and maintaining compliance documentation, coordinating certification and license renewals, supporting inspections and audits, and ensuring timely submission of statutory reports.

The executive will liaise with regulatory authorities, internal departments, and external stakeholders to resolve compliance-related issues,



mitigate risks, and implement corrective actions. The role also includes tracking regulatory changes, updating internal processes accordingly, and assisting in training relevant teams on compliance standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Regulatory Compliance and Law knowledge, preferably related to PESO, oil and gas, or hazardous substances.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication and Interpersonal Skills to work with regulatory bodies, internal teams, and external partners.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret regulations, assess compliance risks, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Law, Engineering, or a related field; professional certifications in compliance or safety are an advantage.
- Experience in statutory compliance within energy, petrochemical, or industrial sectors is preferred, with familiarity in documentation, audits, and licensing processes.
- Attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple compliance activities and deadlines.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and basic digital tools for documentation, tracking, and reporting.
