About this Role

We are seeking a Staff Product Manager to join the Tekion Parts Product team. In this role, you will drive strategic product initiatives across the Parts value chain, with a strong focus on AI-powered workflows, intelligent automation, and ecosystem connectivity. You will own high-visibility, critical capabilities that improve dealership productivity, reduce manual effort, and simplify complex parts workflows for dealership users. This includes shaping Parts AI initiatives across the user journey, while also driving key capabilities across OEM integrations, third party integrations, and APC Studio / REST API extensibility.

You will work closely with Engineering, ML/AI Engineers, Design, Data, GTM, Customer Success, Professional Services, and Partner Engineering teams to define strategy, drive execution, and deliver measurable business impact. This role is ideal for a senior product leader who thrives in complex technical domains, brings strong customer empathy, and can translate AI and platform capabilities into practical dealership workflows in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

Key Responsibilities

Own Product Strategy & Outcomes

- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for strategic Parts capabilities across AI-powered workflows, OEM integrations, third-party integrations, and APC/API extensibility
- Define and evolve the product strategy and roadmap for Parts AI and integrations, aligned with company goals, dealer needs, and long-term platform strategy

Drive AI Product Innovation

- Partner with ML/AI Engineers, Data teams, and Design to identify, prioritize, and productize AI use cases that deliver tangible value across Parts workflows
- Translate AI capabilities into intuitive, workflow-embedded experiences for dealership users including Parts Managers, Parts Counterpersons, Service Advisors, and Fixed Ops leaders





Extend Value Through Integrations

- Drive strategy and execution for key Parts integration capabilities across OEM systems, third party partners, and APC Studio / REST APIs
- Partner with Engineering and Architecture teams to design scalable, secure, and reusable integration patterns that improve connectivity, reliability, and extensibility

Drive Business Impact

- Drive adoption, workflow efficiency, and customer satisfaction for Parts AI and integrations capabilities, with clear accountability for usage, time savings, and operational improvements
- Partner with GTM, Professional Services, and Customer Success teams to ensure product capabilities translate into measurable dealer value and successful go-lives

Customer-Centric Product Development

- Act as the voice of the customer, deeply understanding dealership parts workflows, OEM dependencies, operational pain points, and opportunities for workflow intelligence
- Continuously gather and synthesize customer feedback, usage data, and field insights to inform product decisions and roadmap priorities

Data-Driven Decision Making

- Define success metrics and KPIs for product areas, including adoption, time savings, workflow efficiency, integration reliability, and customer impact
- Use data to prioritize investments, evaluate performance, and guide post-launch iteration

Cross-Functional Leadership

- Lead complex initiatives across Engineering, ML/AI, Design, Data Science, Partner Engineering, Professional Services, Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing
- Align stakeholders across product verticals to ensure roadmap coherence, platform consistency, and solid execution quality

Platform & Scale Thinking

- Design solutions that scale across dealership sizes, parts volumes, and evolving partner ecosystem needs
- Balance innovation with reliability, ensuring AI and integration solutions are practical, configurable, and sustainable

Execution with Velocity

- Enable teams to move fast without breaking things by clarifying priorities, managing dependencies, and making informed trade-offs across short-term needs and long-term strategic bets
- Support launches, escalations, and go-live readiness for complex dealer, enterprise, and OEM facing initiatives

Requirements

- 8+ years of Product Management experience owning B2B SaaS products, enterprise workflows, integrations, APIs




- 2+ years of hands-on AI/ML product management experience (building ML-powered features, working with data scientists/ML engineers, understanding model lifecycle)
- Strong system design and product architecture skills, with the ability to define scalable and extensible technical solutions
- Strong automotive domain experience, with familiarity in OEM integrations, dealership systems, fixed ops workflows, parts operations, or adjacent automotive retail processes
- Experience owning complex product areas that require deep cross-functional collaboration and strong technical fluency
- Strong business acumen with the ability to operate in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
- Proven track record of driving product adoption and measurable business impact
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience partnering closely with Engineering, Design, Data/AI, GTM, and Customer Success teams
- Strong prioritization skills and ability to align stakeholders across functions
- Hands-on product leader with strong judgment, ownership, and bias for action
- End-to-end ownership of the product lifecycle, including discovery, execution, launch, adoption, and post-launch iteration

Preferred Skills

- Experience in the automotive parts, fixed ops, aftermarket, or dealership technology space
- Understanding of dealership parts workflows, inventory operations, repair-order-driven parts fulfillment, and wholesale parts processes
- Experience defining or launching AI/ML-powered product capabilities such as copilots, recommendations, intelligent search, summarization, or workflow automation
- Experience with OEM systems, third-party automotive platforms, parts catalog/content providers, or eCommerce ecosystems
- Experience with REST APIs, web services, webhooks, EDI, file-based integrations, and API driven ecosystems
- Familiarity with LLMs, NLP, recommendation systems, or workflow automation concepts
- Understanding of integration and data exchange standards such as JSON, XML, authentication/authorization, observability, and error handling
