The Soldering Assembly Operator is responsible for performing various soldering tasks to assemble, repair, or inspect components and products. This role requires excellent attention to detail, steady hand-eye coordination, and a thorough understanding of soldering techniques and tools. The operator will work with electronic components, ensuring that soldered joints meet quality and safety standards.
Soldering Assembly:
Use soldering tools to connect components and wires to printed circuit boards (PCBs), connectors, and other electronics.
Inspect solder joints for strength, durability, and compliance with quality standards, ensuring no cold joints or solder bridges.
Accurately place components on circuit boards before soldering, following instructions and ensuring correct orientation.
Perform rework or repairs on defective components or connections as needed.
To follow all health and safety guidelines,
including wearing personal protective equipments and maintaining a clean work area to prevent accidents.
Record work completed, including any issues encountered and steps taken to resolve them, in accordance with company policies.
Regularly clean, calibrate, and maintain soldering equipment to ensure reliability and precision.
Prior experience in soldering, particularly in electronics or PCB assembly, is often required.
