Brief Description:
The Production Analyst is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing production performance in HVAC manufacturing. The role focuses on data-driven decision-making to improve productivity, reduce losses, and ensure alignment with production plans.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Production Monitoring & Analysis
- Track daily production performance against plan (FWU/Chiller lines)
- Analyze downtime, line losses, and efficiency gaps
- Identify bottlenecks affecting productivity and throughput
Data Management & Reporting
- Prepare and maintain production MIS reports (daily/weekly/monthly)
- Track KPIs such as:
- OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)
- Line efficiency
- Loss time and rejection trends
- Develop dashboards for real-time performance monitoring
Loss Analysis & Improvement
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for production losses
- Support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Drive initiatives to reduce downtime and improve cycle time
Coordination & Follow-up
- Coordinate with Production, Planning, Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and Engineering teams:
- Track closure of action items from Tier-1/Tier-2 meetings
- Ensure timely escalation of critical issues impacting production
Planning Support
- Support production planning with data insights
- Monitor material availability and highlight risks proactively
- Assist in capacity planning and shift-wise output tracking
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for process optimization
- Support Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen initiatives
- Improve data accuracy and reporting systems
QUALIFICATIONS:
B.E/ Diploma in Electronics/Electrical. Knowledge of MS office. With 2 - 5 yrs. experience in HVAC industry.
